Home Sweet Home

Ok, you guys seriously have me blushing over here!  Thank you so much to everyone who has become a follower of Welcome to Heardmont over the past couple days and a HUGE thanks to all the sweet commenters on our shower curtain and master closet reveal!  I’m looking forward to replying to each and every one of you this evening.  You guys rock!  :)

Today, I wanted to share a cute little deal I got yesterday at Bed Bath & Beyond.  During our shower curtain dilemma, I actually ran down to the BBB to see if an extra long white shower curtain would look as good as the striped one I had in my head.  It didn’t, but it confirmed to me that floor-to-ceiling looked good in our bath.

Of course I couldn’t just return it and walk away yesterday – no, no – they get you with that sweet “would you like to look around before returning this?” line.

Long story short, this is what I brought home. :)

Isn’t that Home Sweet Home pillow adorable?  It was “on sale” (using that term lightly, because it IS still BBB) for $14.99.  Now both our chairs sport linen colored lumbar pillows (read about the peacock one here), and the addition of two vintage hardcover books ties them together.

Just before I left to run my errands yesterday, I read this post on How to Make a Room Come Together at Maillardville Manor.  Ashli has some really good tips on what to do to make your room feel “finished,” and this Home Sweet Home pillow fit so many of them I just had to bring it home.  Three years into this renovation of ours, and it’s really starting to feel 1. Sweet and 2. Like Home!

Ok, enough cheesy-talk for one day!  To sum it all up, You Guys Rock, and Keep Coming Back to See More of our Home Sweet Home!  Thanks for reading. :)

I love how the pillow are different but they tie the matching chairs together so well! I know what you mean about “on sale” at BBB ;) …..you do know that their coupons never expire, though….and that they let you use as many as you want @ checkout?! at least that’s always been my experience and I’ve been to several BBB’s!

  3. What an adorable pillow… I am thinking I should make one now! lol. Thanks for your sweet comment on Humble Homemaking. I am so glad I found your blog! Feel free to hook up this weekend to our linky party. Have a wonderful day!
